Rewind 80’s Band has also performed at some of Australia’s biggest International sporting events.
It was match point in 2013 when the band were asked to join a line up of Australia’s finest musicians at The Australian Open.
Rewind 80s performed some of the best sporting tracks including Playing To Win – Little River Band, Dreams – Van Halen, Eye Of The Tiger – Survivor to suit the theme of the day with an hour of power performance on the Grand Slam Oval stage.
Artists included on the bill were Mark Seymour, Daryl Braithwate, Julia Stone, Wolfmother just to name a few.
Rewind 80’s also worked with Nova Fm for their promotions on the day.
It was motorbikes all the way to Phillip Island in October 2013 when Rewind 80’s were asked to perform, headline and officially close the the Moto GP event in 2013.
It was a room full of motorbike enthusiasts that had had a weekend of top quality racing and wanted a top quality performance from our band and weren’t afraid to ask for it!
It was Rewind 80’s bands biggest gig for 2013 and a great success, they were also asked back for The Moto Gp in 2014.
